Day 01: Arrival and Relaxation in Arusha
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by our experienced Travel-Wise Safari guide. They will provide you with a warm welcome and a brief overview of your upcoming safari adventure.
After this introduction, you will be transferred to your comfortable accommodation in Arusha, where you can unwind and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.

Day 02: Arusha to Serengeti North
After a hearty breakfast, you will be transferred to the Arusha airstrip for your morning flight to Serengeti North. Your flight is scheduled to depart around 7:00 AM and will arrive in Serengeti North at approximately 10:00 AM.
Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and taken on a thrilling game drive through the Northern Mara region of the Serengeti.
The Serengeti is renowned for its dramatic wildlife spectacle, particularly the annual Great Migration. From July to October, over 1.5 million wildebeest, along with hundreds of thousands of zebras, traverse the plains in search of fresh grazing grounds.
Witness this awe-inspiring event as the herds navigate through crocodile-infested waters, a true test of survival. The migration includes dramatic scenes of territorial disputes and mating rituals.
The wildebeest produce more than 8,000 calves each day as they undertake their grueling 1,000 km (600 mile) journey.

From August to October, the game viewing reaches its peak, with daily opportunities to witness the thrilling river crossings. The herds cross the river multiple times, following the rains and the fresh grass that emerges, creating an ever-changing and dynamic spectacle.

Day 04 Serengeti North (Kogatende)
After a hearty breakfast, we will embark on a full-day game drive exploring the Mara area of the Serengeti, renowned for its spectacular wildlife and dramatic river crossings.
This region, particularly the Wagakuria area, is known for exceptionally high numbers of resident wildlife and offers excellent opportunities to witness the Great Migration in action.
The Mara River is a key feature of this area, providing a prime location to observe the iconic river crossings. Depending on the time of year, you may see the herds crossing the Mara River northward on one day and then returning southward a few days later.
However, please note that witnessing these crossings can be challenging and is often a matter of luck, as herds may linger near the river before making their move.
The Mara area is a stunning landscape featuring kopjes, woodlands, riverine vegetation, and expansive open plains. Its diverse scenery is reminiscent of Kenya's Masai Mara Game Reserve, offering a unique and captivating safari experience.

Day 05: Transfer to Serengeti Central
After breakfast at the camp, we set out for a scenic drive to Serengeti Central, Tanzania's oldest and most renowned national park, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Serengeti is celebrated for its spectacular annual migration, where around six million hooves pound the vast plains. During this incredible migration, over 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles join the wildebeest in their quest for fresh grazing grounds.
Even outside of the migration period, Serengeti Central offers some of the best game viewing in Africa.
The park is home to large herds of buffalo, as well as smaller groups of elephants and giraffes. You will also encounter thousands of other species, including eland, topi, kongoni, impala, and Grant’s gazelle, each contributing to the region's rich and diverse wildlife experience.

Observe the vivid colors of the agama lizards and watch rock hyraxes scurrying around the rugged granite kopjes scattered throughout the park.
The Serengeti’s rich ecosystem supports a variety of dung beetles, contributing to the park’s intricate food web. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted by the park's avian diversity, with around 500 recorded species.
From the towering ostriches and unique secretary birds of the open grasslands to the majestic black eagles soaring above the Lobo Hills, the Serengeti offers exceptional birdwatching opportunities.

The Serengeti is famous for its large population of lions, with over 3,000 individuals roaming the park's vast plains. You'll also have the chance to spot the elusive African leopard, with around 1,000 leopards scattered throughout the park, often seen in the Seronera region.
The park's African elephant herds, once reduced by poaching in the 1980s, are now recovering and are predominantly found in the northern areas.
Encounter the formidable African buffalo, known for their unpredictable and potentially dangerous behavior, and seek out the critically endangered black rhinoceros, a rare but prized sight among the Big Five.
Throughout the day, you’ll experience diverse landscapes, from open grasslands to rocky kopjes, and witness the Serengeti's dynamic ecosystem.
