Our 2 Day Camping Safari Itinerary
Morning Departure: Start your journey with an early morning departure from Arusha. After a short briefing, you'll head towards Tarangire National Park, a two-hour drive southwest of Arusha.
Game Drive in Tarangire: Upon arrival, enjoy a full-day game drive in Tarangire, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Explore the diverse landscapes, which range from dry savannahs to lush river valleys, and spot wildlife such as lions, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, buffaloes, and various bird species. The Tarangire River runs through the park, attracting animals and offering excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing.
Lunch in the Wild: A picnic lunch will be served at one of the designated sites in the park, surrounded by the sounds and sights of nature.
Evening at Campsite: As the sun sets, head to your campsite at either Kizumba or Migombani Campsite, both offering stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. After setting up camp, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner and relax around the campfire under the stars.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Tour and Return to Arusha
Early Morning Breakfast: Wake up early to the sounds of the African bush and enjoy a hearty breakfast at the campsite.
Drive to Ngorongoro Crater: After breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most unique wildlife destinations in Africa. The drive takes approximately 1.5 hours.
Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater: Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive. The crater’s 600-metre walls create a natural enclosure for over 25,000 large animals, including black rhinos, lions, leopards, elephants, and large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and buffaloes. The diverse habitats, including grasslands, swamps, and lakes, allow for incredible wildlife sightings.
Picnic Lunch in the Crater: Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the crater, often near the hippo pool or another beautiful viewing area.
Afternoon Return to Arusha: After your thrilling safari experience, head back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. This marks the end of your unforgettable 2-day Tanzania camping safari.
