Our 3 Day Camping Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Morning: Departure from Arusha
7:00 AM: Depart from Arusha after breakfast. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Tanzanian countryside.
Travel Time: Approximately 2 hours to Tarangire National Park.
Late Morning: Arrival and Game Drive in Tarangire
9:30 AM: Arrive at Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees.
Game Drive: Explore the park’s diverse landscapes and wildlife. Look out for lions, leopards, giraffes, and a variety of bird species.
Afternoon: Lunch and Relaxation
12:30 PM: Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated area in the park.
1:30 PM: Continue with a relaxed afternoon game drive or visit a scenic viewpoint for stunning views of the park.
Evening: Camp Setup and Dinner
4:30 PM: Arrive at your campsite—Kizumba or Migombani. Set up your tent and unwind.
7:00 PM: Dinner at the campsite, featuring a traditional Tanzanian meal under the stars.
Overnight: Kizumba or Migombani Campsite.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park to Lake Manyara National Park
Morning: Early Game Drive and Breakfast
6:00 AM: Depart for an early morning game drive to experience wildlife at its most active.
8:00 AM: Return to the campsite for breakfast.
Midday: Travel to Lake Manyara
9:00 AM: Begin your journey to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its diverse ecosystems and tree-climbing lions.
Travel Time: Approximately 2-3 hours.
Afternoon: Arrival and Game Drive in Lake Manyara
12:00 PM: Arrive at Lake Manyara National Park. Check in at your campsite.
1:00 PM: Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated area.
2:00 PM: Embark on an afternoon game drive. Lake Manyara offers incredible birdwatching opportunities and views of the lake’s salt flats, as well as sightings of elephants and other wildlife.
Evening: Camp Setup and Dinner
5:30 PM: Return to your campsite. Relax and enjoy the tranquil environment.
7:00 PM: Dinner at the campsite, with a menu of local and international dishes.
Overnight: Lake Manyara Campsite.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park to Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha
Morning: Sunrise Game Drive
6:00 AM: Start with a sunrise game drive to catch the morning activity of the park’s wildlife.
8:00 AM: Return to camp for breakfast.
Midday: Travel to Ngorongoro Crater
9:00 AM: Depart for Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy the scenic drive through the highlands.
Travel Time: Approximately 2 hours.
Afternoon: Ngorongoro Crater Tour and Lunch
11:00 AM: Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its rich wildlife and stunning landscapes.
1:00 PM: Picnic lunch at a designated area within the crater.
Late Afternoon: Return to Arusha
3:00 PM: Begin your journey back to Arusha.
Travel Time: Approximately 2.5 hours.
Evening: Arrival in Arusha
5:30 PM: Arrive in Arusha. End of the safari.
