Great Migration and when?
Migration Cycle: This annual migration involves over 1.5 million wildebeest, along with hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles, moving in a cycle driven by the search for food and water. The migration follows a roughly circular route, starting from the southern Serengeti, moving to the western corridor, and reaching the Masai Mara in Kenya before returning.
Timing: The migration is dynamic, with calving season occurring in the southern Serengeti from January to March, the movement to the western corridor around April to June, and the northern migration around July to October.

Game Drive
Guided Tours: Visitors can explore the park through game drives in 4x4 vehicles, which allow for close-up viewing of wildlife. The best times for game drives are early morning and late afternoon when animals are most active.
Self-Driving: In some areas, visitors with appropriate permits can also drive themselves, though guided tours are recommended for safety and the best experience.
The Serengeti is home to a wide array of wildlife, including the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros).
It supports large populations of herbivores such as wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and antelopes.
